Intellectual Property Rights Cell
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce. IP is protected in law by, for example, patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create. By striking the right balance between the interests of innovators and the wider public interest, the IP system aims to foster an environment in which creativity and innovation can flourish.

To be on the forefront of knowledge creation by stimulating innovations and creativity in emerging areas of higher professional education.
MISSION
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell is committed to fostering an innovative and knowledge-driven ecosystem by:
- IPR Awareness: Educating about IPR among all stakeholders the significance, legal aspects, and economic benefits of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
- Capacity Building: Sensitizing all stakeholders on diverse aspects of IPR through training programs, workshops, and expert sessions.
- Supporting Innovation & Protection: Encouraging Researchers by providing Guidance and Infrastructure for effective Patent filing, copyright registration, and other forms of IPR protection.
- Developing Incentive & Accountability Mechanisms: Establishing a transparent and performance-driven system for faculty & Students to disclose, protect, and commercialize their innovations with due recognition and rewards.
- Promoting Commercialization & Technology Transfer: Creating an enabling environment that facilitates the commercialization of institutional research and technological advancements for societal and economic impact.
- Building Strategic Alliances: Collaborating with national and international institutions, industries, and government bodies to enhance IPR capabilities and global outreach.
- Providing IPR Consultancy & Legal Support: Offering consultancy on patent filing, trademark registration, copyright protection, and other IPR domains & legal guidance.

New Shape, Pattern or Configuration - Trade Marks:
A visual symbol such as a Word, Name, Logo, Label, Monogram, Slogan etc.
