INTRODUCTION

The center of communications has been setup in Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS) in 2022 to inculcate deep understanding of the Communication and its disciplines. In the rapidly evolving landscape of business and technology, effective communication plays a pivotal role in fostering success, collaboration, and innovation. Recognizing the importance of communication as a strategic asset, organizations worldwide are establishing Centers of Excellence (CoEs) dedicated to refining and optimizing their communication practices.

A Center of Communication is a specialized hub within an organization designed to cultivate, enhance, and streamline all aspects of communication. It serves as a focal point for developing best practices, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and fostering a culture of effective communication across departments and stakeholders.

  1. Strategic Alignment: The CoE ensures that communication efforts are aligned with the organization’s overall strategic goals and objectives. By understanding the company’s vision and mission, the CoE tailors communication strategies to support these overarching priorities.
  2. Best Practices Development: Through continuous research and analysis, the CoE identifies and develops communication best practices. These practices encompass various communication channels, including internal communication, external relations, digital communication, and crisis communication.
  3. Skill Enhancement: The CoE is dedicated to nurturing and enhancing the communication skills of employees at all levels. This may involve organizing training programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives to empower individuals with the tools needed for effective communication.
  4. Innovation and Technology Integration: Staying abreast of the latest communication technologies and trends, the CoE explores innovative ways to leverage new tools for improved communication. This includes adopting state-of-the-art platforms, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to enhance communication efficiency.

PURPOSE

The center of communications has been setup in Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS) in 2022 to inculcate deep understanding of the Communication and its disciplines. The Centre of Communication is to address the topics around the two crucial concepts of communications and Communication through media. Media is the wing of the communication which helps to generate new approaches and adopted the new ideas for communication. Communication has always been an undeniable part of human lives and “media”, as a buzzword and key term in the world today is gaining more and more importance and attention among academia. Owing to the national, regional, and international importance of the concepts, to form a team of distinguished experts and researchers in the fields of communications, among others, to study and put forward practical solutions for improving the areas of communications studies. The Centre undertakes sponsored short and long term projects besides picking up a topical issue and research with the team of faculty and students.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To Produce and publish research with holistic content.
  2. To Study, Establish and Monitor state-of-the-art developments in the fields of communications and media;
  3. To Design of Communication in diversities of different sector like economic, social, and cultural sectors of the country;
  4. To Identify of research needs in the new ICT era related to Communication practices.
  5. To Implement research projects to produce knowledge and solve problems;
  6. To Participate in innovative of new dimensions with references of conferences, workshops and specialized courses;
  7. To Hold international conferences, workshops and specialized courses with the cooperation of prominent national and international professors;
  8. To Train media specialists from industry
  9. To Establish contacts with national organizations and collecting the opinions of policy- makers and creating the grounds for cooperation between them;
  10. To Publish a research quarterly in the field of communications;
  11. To conduct events for the filed experiences to students.
  12. To Augment Visual Communication :- film, short film, documentaries, Short videos, etc
  13. To Augment Digital Media: – Social Media Platform which helps students for enhances their knowledge about digital communication.
  14. To Establish Strategic Communication: For Business, Politics and Human Development.
