INTRODUCTION
It’s no surprise that colleges have embraced social media. Today’s students have grown up communicating and sharing experiences on social media sites like Facebook and are now helping grow the popularity of newer platforms such as Instagram. Using the power of different networks and engaging content, schools are using social media to attract students, interact with current students and stay connected with alumni as well. Tecnia Institute of Advance Studies has established an official presence on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter. These social media accounts are all maintained by the Social Media Cell of the college.
VISION
To develop platform that facilitates the sharing of Ideas, Achievements and Innovations with Global World, also encourages the virtual connectivity for sustainable growth of young minds which envision the future.
MISSION
To provide service that encourages IIC Activities and Achievements to Global Audience through different Social Media Platforms, and help in building a bridge between Institution and Internal & External Audiences.
FUNCTIONS OF SOCIAL MEDIA CELL
- To maintain & update the college website
- To carry out the social media campaign for promoting college related news & information.
- To design innovative post/messages for posting on social media accounts of the college such as Facebook,Instagram,Youtube, Linkedln etc.
- To keep track of the views, comments, likes on the social media platforms and report it to the concerned authorities.
- To coordinate with different departments of the college as well as other stakeholders & collect relevant information for posting on social media.
