introduction
Endeavour – Management Academic Fest is an initiative of management Sciences (MBA & BBA Department) if TIAS to provide platform where students from various streams can showcase their knowledge, skills and abilities. It promises to test grits, gut will grandeur and winners will be those who will be ahead of all odds with right blend of Emotional Quotient & Intelligence Quotient. It will be an assortment of various managerial activities to enhance students’ competencies and vivid skills.
Keeping the trend in continuation, TECNIA announces “Endeavour–Management Academic Fest” at Institute premises. It will be an assortment of various managerial activities to honor the student’s interests, competencies and vivid skills.

Endeavour 2023 is all set to be bigger and better, with new innovations and events guaranteed to pull in the crowds. The main highlights of the fest will be Royale Battle-Quiz, Battle of Barons-Management Games, Ballyhoo-Ad Mad Show, Just-A-Minute – Extempore Competition, Trademark -Product Logo Design, Con-Cogent – Case Presentation, Cerebration – Business Plan, Dialectic – Debate, Synthesis-Summer Training Tutelage, Counterstrike – LAN Gaming to check students’ talent.

Event SCHEDULE

General Rules
- All the participants are required to get themselves registered; else, they will not be allowed to participate
- Last day for internal registration will be 7.06.2023.
- For external participants, registration can be done on 9th June, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. However, prior confirmation for the event is required.
- All participants are required to be on time else their registration will stand cancelled.
- Information regarding the events will be available at the Registration Desk.
- Entries in particular event will be strictly on first come basis.
- All participants are required to report 15 minutes prior to commencement of particular event.
- Late entries will not be allowed.
- Judges’ decision will be final. Clarifications regarding the judgment will not be entertained.
- Stationery, special equipment’s etc. will not be provided and will not be compensated for as well.
- Participants are required to produce their College Identity Card on demand.
- Organizers will not be responsible for the security of participants’ personal belongings
REGISTRATION
- Undergraduate /postgraduate student from any college
- Bring college id cards at the time of event

- Minimum no of member in a team-1 (team formation will be based on the registration)
QUIZ ROUNDS
- There will be three rounds
- Each round will have 10 questions .
- The questions will be dictated by the quiz master .
- For every right question the participant will get 10 marks
- If a participant is unable to answer a question , it will be passed to the next team . if that team answers correctly , they will receive extra 5 points.
- There is no negative marking
- There is no time limit in the first round .
- 30 seconds time limit will be given for the second round .
- 15 seconds time limit will be given for the third round

COMPETITION RULES
- No books/phones allowed during the quiz

Winners may receive awards or recognition for their outstanding contributions.

Arm yourself with word bazookas and bullets and Let the arguments begin!! Dialectic- Debate is the quintessential debate to hone your debating skills against the best. Team up with a feisty interjector and win it all! The Dialectic will give the best platform to discuss, talk over, exchange views, argue, contest controvert for the avid Debaters to showcase their convincing pursuable skills and to raise the bar of thinking, discussion and discourse
Process & Rules
- There are two teams, each consisting of two or three speakers. One team (the affirmative) supports the motion, and the other (the negative) opposes the motion.
- There is a chairperson, who controls the proceedings.The speeches and speaking time are divided equally between the two teams.
- Each speaker makes a speech they have prepared to argue their case. The sides speak in turn, starting with the proposer of the motion (affirmative, negative, affirmative, negative). Each speaker has a specified amount of time to speak.
- Each team may then speak in ‘rebuttal’, after a short period has been allowed for the teams to consult. This means that they have a chance to argue against points raised by the opposition. Each team may have one rebuttal speech each, or more. The first rebuttal speech is made by the negative side and the final rebuttal speech is made by the affirmative.

- Individual participation only
- Each participant will be given a topic on-the-spot, with no preparation time and the speaking time shall be of 1 minute
- Topics would be picked by the participants from a bowl of chits
- No hesitation, deviation is allowed while the performance is on
- Participants have to use only English words. Usage of any other language would lead to under- marking
- The buzzer will be pressed twice. Once when 45 seconds have passed and second at the end of one minute, signaling the participants that their turn is over.
- The participants will be judged on SPONTAENITY, METHOD, CONTENT and FLUENCY.

RULES & REGULATIONS
- The students should represent their case study in the form of Power Point Presentation.
- Only one student will represent each case study.
- The maximum time for the presentation will be 10 minutes and minimum time for the presentation will be 7 minutes.
- There is no maximum or minimum number of slides but the presentation should be created with the time limit in mind.
- Judges and other participants will have an additional time of 5-7 minutes for Q&A.
- The PPT will be sent a day prior to the competition.
- The students should wear formal attire.

- Participants are encouraged to share original stories or narratives. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material is prohibited.
- Each participant will be allotted a specific time frame (e.g., 5 minutes) to share their story. the time limit will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness to all participants.
- Stories will be judged based on creativity, coherence, storytelling ability, and audience engagement.
- Prizes may be awarded to winners based on the judgment of the organizers. Prizes, if any, will be determined and announced prior to the commencement of the activity.
- Participants found to be in violation of the terms and conditions or engaging in disruptive behavior may be disqualified from the activity at the discretion of the organizers.
- Participants are encouraged to read and understand these terms and conditions before participating in the “Spin a Yarn” activity.

ELIGIBILITY
- The competition is open to individuals and teams of up to three members. Participants must be current students or recent graduates (within the last two years) from accredited educational institutions.
SUBMISSION FORMAT
- Each participant or team must submit a comprehensive business plan in PowerPoint (PPT) format.
- The business plan should include sections such as Introduction, Problem Statement, Solution, Market Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Business Model, Marketing and Sales Strategy, Financial Projections, and Conclusion.
- Submissions must be original works of the participants.
PARTICIPATION
- Participants can either compete individually or in teams of three members.
PRESENTATION TIME LIMIT
- Each presentation will be allocated 7 minutes.
- A bell will ring at the following intervals
- First bell: After 5 minutes
- Second bell: After 6 minutes
- Third bell: After 7 minutes (end of presentation)
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Creativity and Innovation: The uniqueness and originality of the business idea.
- Feasibility and Viability: The potential for the business idea to be successfully implemented and generate sustainable revenue.
- Presentation Quality: Clarity, organization, and effectiveness of the presentation.
- Market Potential: The size, growth, and attractiveness of the target market.
- Competitive Advantage: The ability of the business to differentiate itself from competitors.
- Financial Projections: The realism and accuracy of the financial forecasts presented.
JUDGES CROSS-QUESTIONING:
- Following each presentation, judges will have 2 minutes to ask questions and seek clarifications from the participants.
