Greetings from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Affiliated to GGSIP University, The Department of J&MC, where we strive to impart the best knowledge and cognitive skills to encourage innovation in our students. Our goal is to nurture young talents and help them quickly adapt to the various fields of journalism and mass communication, while maintaining cultural equivalence. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a suitable introduction before entering the profession or furthering their studies. Students are exposed to modern, innovative analytical methods and acquire advanced skills during the programs under the guidance of experienced faculty with both academic experience and industry exposure.

In addition to practical work experience, it provides an opportunity to develop professional contacts and improve employment opportunities after graduation. We also constantly invite experienced media professionals to interact with our students on various topics. To understand a media literate society, the department offers several workshops and skill development programs to various stakeholders in our community. In our complex media saturated world, the role of media educators is enormous. With our imaginative and friendly faculty and robust academic systems, we aim to make media education rigorous, meaningful and joyful.
