Introduction

Techno Vision-IT academic fest is an initiative of Department of Information, Communication and Technology of TIAS to nurture the budding technocrats to hone their technical skills and competitive to prove dexterous edge over the others. It is an assortment of various technological activities and a finest platform for the ingenious minds to show their talents in technical fields and come together to put their skills to test. It aims to motive students to come together and share their enthusiasm and love for technology. It provides an opportunity to the students, where they can exhibit their technical competence, knowledge, and skill sets required to be an effective IT professional.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Enable students to brush-up their technical skills.
  2. To create awareness amongst Students of IT and Management about the practical exposure of the latest trends in technology sector.
  3. To search the talent among the students and to bring the various educational facets of the students to the surface

TECHNO VISION IT ACADEMIC FEST 2025

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies is conducting “Techno Vision -IT Academic Fest” for the IT Students of GGSIPU colleges, as per the time slots indicated in the Programme Schedule. Followiing are the major events, which would be part of this event:

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Treasure Hunt

The technical treasure hunt at a fest takes the excitement of a regular treasure hunt to the next level by incorporating technology and coding challenges. Participants are given a series of clues and puzzles that require technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to solve.

Rules:

  1. Team of 2-₹100 , Team of 4-₹200
  2. Each team can have a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 4 members.
  3. Mobile Phones or any external help is not allowed.
  4. Every game has a specific time limit.
  5. Points will be awarded based on accuracy, speed, creativity, and performance.
  6. Low-scoring teams will be eliminated after each round.
2. Tech-Tok

A Shark Tank-style event where participants present innovative startup ideas.

Rules:

  1. Registration fees is ₹50 per member.
  2. It can be individual or team-based (2 max in a team).
  3. Limit to 10 slides, excluding title and appendix.
  4. Keep slides concise and visually appealing.
  5. The time limit is 5–7 minutes.
  6. Teams should be prepared to defend and elaborate on their plans.
  7. Allocate 5 minutes for cross-questioning per team.
  8. The presentation should be shared at least 3 days before i.e. till 2nd April, on the email: nayyarakshit2003@gmail.com.
3. Big Brain Mode

A quiz covering topics like coding, tech trends, IT history, and cybersecurity

Rules:

  1. Registration fees is ₹100 each Team.
  2. Team will consist of 2 members.
  3. There would be multiple rounds with various difficulties.
  4. No use of mobile phones, smart devices, or external help.
  5. Any malpractice leads to immediate disqualification.
  6. In case of a tie, a rapid-fire round or additional questions will decide the winner.
4. Pixel Punch

Participants must develop a website within a given timeframe based on a theme

Rules:

  1. Registration fee is ₹50 for each member.
  2. Participants must develop a website within a given timeframe based on a theme.
  3. Team up of 2 members or individual.
  4. You have. 1 hour to develop a website.
  5. Topic of website will be given on spot.
5. Zero Day Quest

Participants identify and report security flaws in pre-configured applications.

Rules:

  1. ₹50 per participant.
  2. Participants must bring their own laptop for the investigation process.
  3. Participation is individual.
  4. Each participant will be provided with a simulated cyber-crime case. They must analyze the scenario, identify key evidence, and submit an investigative report.
  5. Usage of mobile phones and digital watches is allowed during the investigation.
  6. Total time allotted for the investigation is 1 hour.
  7. Assistance of AI Chatbots can be taken but sharing answers is strictly prohibited.
6. Code Rush

Participants identify and report security flaws in pre-configured applications.

Rules:

  1. ₹50 per participant.
  2. Participants must bring their own laptop for the investigation process.
  3. Participation is individual.
  4. Each participant will be provided with a simulated cyber-crime case. They must analyze the scenario, identify key evidence, and submit an investigative report.
  5. Usage of mobile phones and digital watches is allowed during the investigation.
  6. Total time allotted for the investigation is 1 hour.

7. Encrypted Evidence

A cybersecurity challenge where participants solve security-related puzzles and exploit vulnerabilities to “capture flags.”

Rules:

  1. Individual Participation Only – This is a solo competition; team participation is not allowed.
  2. Registration Fee: ₹50
  3. No On-the-Spot Registrations – Only pre-registered participants can compete.
  4. Bring Your Own Laptop – Participants must bring their own laptop, charger, and necessary software/tools.
  5. No External Assistance – You cannot get help from other participants or outside sources.
  6. Use of AI Tools – You are allowed to use AI tools like ChatGPT, but sharing answers is strictly prohibited.
  7. Be On Time – Late entries will not be allowed once the competition starts.
  8. Respect the Rules – Any violation of the rules may result in immediate disqualification.
8. Data Dominators

Participants compete to build the most accurate and efficient machine learning models.

Rules:

  1. ₹50 Per Participant.
  2. Judging criteria will be based on accuracy of the model.
  3. Dataset will be given at the time of event.
  4. 1 hour will be given to train the model.
  5. Maximum 3 members can participate in team.
9. Robo Fusion

Teams design and program robots to complete an obstacle race in the shortest time.

Rules:

  1. Participants will be given a robotic arm and must code it to accurately pick up and place objects on designated spots.
  2. Event Type: Solo Participation Only
  3. Registration Fee: ₹100 (Payment Details Below).
  4. 1 Hour will given to every participant

Judging Criteria:

  1. Precision of object placement.
  2. Code efficiency.
  3. Speed of task completion.
10. Loot & Shoot - BGMI Frenzy

A battle royale-style gaming competition (e.g., BGMI, Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile).

Rules:

  1. 4 Players per team required.
  2. The Team Leader must submit this form on behalf of all team members.
  3. College ID Proof is mandatory.
  4. No third-party apps or device switching allowed.
  5. Registration Fee: ₹400 Per Team.
