  SARAS EVENTS
• Mono Acting
• One participant per team.
• Time limit : 4+1 minutes.
• Judgment of presentation, use of makeup, music and general impression.
• One Act Play
• Maximum Time : 15+5 minutes.
• Maximum of 12 participants per team (incl. three accompanists).
• No props will be provided.
• Face Painting
• One Team comprising of 2 participants (orator and a painter) shall be allowed.
• There will be only 1 round in the event viz., the final round.
• Participants shall be given total time duration of 45 minutes to paint the face.
• Participants are required to bring their own colors, mixing tray, brushes and other ,material, since no material will be provided by the college.
• Theme for face painting should be announced before the event itself
• T-Shirt Painting
Paint your emotions with lively colors, enigmatic strokes on T-shirt. Your artistic approach would definitely add vivacious dimensions.
• Each team will comprise 2 members only.
• Team will bring their own T-shirt drawing and the other painting material has to be brought by the participants.
• Time duration- 1 hour
• Folk Dance
• Minimum of 10 participants.
• Two accompanists allowed.
• Time limit: 8+2 minutes.
• Judgment will be based on rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, costumes, Make-up, sets, and overall effects.
• No film songs allowed.
• Solo Dance
• Time limit 3-6 minutes.
• CD’s should be properly tagged with the song name, participant name.
• What type of props you are using should be informed earlier. Props related to fire will be prohibited.
• Judgments will be based on costumes, Dance steps, expressions and song selection
• Group Dance

The team should be of 5-10 members.
• Time limit: 5 to 8 minutes.
• Teams have to submit their song CD to the event coordinators one hour before the event.
• Negative marking on exceeding the time limit.
• Teams have to bring their own props, costumes and make up.
• Participants will be judged on the basis of Coordination, Costumes, Expressions, and Choreography

• Classical Dance
• No film music allowed.
• One participant + Three accompanists allowed.
• Time Limit :6+2 minutes.
• Judgment will be based on rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, costumes, make up, sets, and overall effects.
• Nach Baliye
Nach Baliye is a couple dance which involves rhythmic movemement of body in proper synchronization of act and music with or without props.
• Two participants per team(1Boy/1 Girl)
• Props allowed (personal)
• Time Limits : 5+2 minutes
• Street Play
• Play may be in Hindi or English.
• Maximum number of participants per team :10(incl. Two accompanists), minimum 8 participants.
• Use of make-up, light and mikes not allowed.
• Time Limit : 10+10 minutes.
• It is essential for registration that teams send beforehand (a) Name of play and playwright (b) script and synopsis.
• No props are allowed.
• Comedy Play
 
• Classical vocal solo
• Hindustani and Carnatic.
• Number of participants is one.
• Maximum number of accompanists is two.
• Sufficient thought and care must be exercised in the choice of raga and composition.
• Judgment will be based on the qualities like swara, taal, selection of raga, composition and general impression.
• Max. Time Limit : 5+2 minutes.
• Light vocal music
• Film songs allowed.
• Number of participants is one.
• Two accompanist are allowed.
• Time Limit : 4+2 minutes.
• Western Vocal Solo
Western music originated as a form of American folk music. It is directly related musically to old English, Scottish, and Irish folk ballads. Western music celebrates the life of the cowboy on the open ranges and prairies of Western North America.
• Number of participants is one
• Two accompanists allowed
• Maximum 2 instruments allowed
• Time limit : 4+2 minutes
• Judgment will be based on the qualities like composition, Rhythm, Coordination and general impression.
• Group song (Indian)
• Number of participants are ten.
• Maximum of 3 accompanists allowed.
• Time Limit : 8+2 minutes (for setting).
• Judgment will be based on quality of singing only and not on make up, costume or action of the team.
• No film songs.
• Group Song (Western)
• Maximum number of participants are ten.
• Three accompanists are allowed.
• Time Limit : 8+2 minutes.
• Judgment will be based on quality of singing only and not on make up, costume or actions of the team.
• Fashion Parade
Flaunt your style, walk with attitude, carry yourself with confidence-This is all about fashion show. Your walk will add fun and glamour to the fest.
Each team should choose one from the below theme for their sequence.
• Retro
• Ethnic
• Corporate
• Gothic
• Summer Coolers
• Angel & Devil
• Minimum 8 to maximum 12 participants should be there per team. In addition there should be one person in charge for music and one for lights.
• On stage time for each team is limited to a maximum of 12 minutes.
• The stage should not remain empty for more than 30 seconds in between the sequences.
• Judgment will be on the basis of presentation, Walk, dressing and attitude.
• Music system will be provided. The teams are expected to bring their own piece of music for the sequence(s).
• All clothes and accessories are to be arranged for by the participating team.
• The organizing committee is responsible only for the infrastructural facilities.
• Any form of obscenity will result in debarring the team from further participation

• There will be Three Rounds
• First round will be of two minutes in which each participant has to give his or her introduction along with ramp walk.
• There will be elimination after first round.
• In second round they have to show their talent.
• There will be again elimination after second round.
• Third round will be question – answer round
