Technology is the systematic application of knowledge to meet the needs and desires of man, including its embodiments in machine, tools, products and software (i.e. the organization and management of doing things) and including the possession of such knowledge by skilled labour, professionals, managers and libraries. Learning using technologies has become a global phenomenon. It is believed that technology is a way to prepare students for the 21st century global economy. Challenges in imparting modern education can be overcome through innovations with a blend of technology and smart thinking. Moving beyond the classroom walls, creative use of technology can completely transform the education system and unleash new ways of learning skills. The success in using technologies in education depends largely on the ability of teachers to integrate these technologies into the teaching process.
