General Rules (for all events)• All the participants are required to get themselves registered; else, they will not be entertained.
• Last day for internal registration will be 11th October 2014
• For external participants, registration can be done on 31st October 2014 from (9:00 AM-9:30 AM) However; prior confirmation for the event is required by 22nd October 2014.
• All participants are required to be on time else their registration will stand cancelled.
• Information regarding the events will be available at the Registration Desk
• Entries in particular event will be strictly on first come basis.
• All participants are required to report 15 minutes prior to commencement of particular event.
• Late entries will not be allowed.
• Judges’ decision will be final. Clarifications regarding the judgment will not be entertained.
• Stationery, special equipments etc will not be provided and will not be compensated for as well.
• Participants are required to produce their College Identity Card on demand
• Organizers will not be responsible for the security of participants’ personal belongings.

RJ hunt
Tired of hearing old, boring voices? Think you have the voice and personality to change the face on radio. Come participate in this year RJ hunt and show the world your refreshing skills.

• Topic will be given on the spot.
• Vulgar language or content is not allowed.
• Time limit is 3 minutes. In which 1 minute time is for the preparation and 2 minutes for performing.
• Judgment will be based on content, confidence and voice clarity.
• Hindi and English both the languages are allowed
  

News Writing

Writing is anything were the purpose is to express thoughts, feeling and emotions rather than to simply convey information.

• Individual entry only
• Time Limit- 1 hr.
• Sheets will be provided by the organizers only.
• Judgment will be done on the basis of angle of the topic, your language (grammer etc.)
  

T-Shirt Painting
Paint your emotions with lively colors, enigmatic strokes on T-shirt. Your artistic approach would definitely add vivacious dimensions.

• Each team will comprise 2 members only.
• Team will bring their own T-shirt drawing and the other painting material has to be brought by the participants.

Drop the Beats-Solo Singing

Music has a unique link to our emotions, so can be an extremely effective stress management tool. Listening to song can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music. As it can absorb our attention, it acts as a distraction at the same time it helps to explore emotions.

• The time limit is 2-3 minutes.
• Participants will have to bring their own CD or PD or instrument.
• An instrumentalist can accompany a vocalist.
• Language is not a bar in selection of song.
• Judgments will be based on talent, rhythm, voice quality and performance
  

Extempore English/Hindi
Speakers in the firing line, jousting, thrusting and parrying - all for the noble cause of defending a topic. If you think that you have the ability to play with words and have the ability to speak on anything that is given to you, then this could be your chance to stardom in the language

• Every participant will be given 3 mins to speak on the topic.
• Topic will be provided on the spot.
• Marking will be done on the basis of Content, Pronunciation, and Confidence and Presentation skills
  

Collage Making
Amalgamation of multiple thoughts, memories and emotions in a simple frame. So come and create your own imagination.

• Students have to bring their own sheets, colors, materials required for making collage.
• Collage should be on the Varchasva Theme-JAGO DELHI or Sub-Theme Women Empowerment, Crime in Delhi, Environment Awareness, Traffic, Health Issues.
• Time limit will be 45min.

Aaja Nach Le-Solo Dance/ Group Dance
“To dance means to be new, to be fresh at every moment, As though one hand just issued from the hand of God”

Dance is another way of communicating. A dance could express something specific like a story. Your dance will convey an idea, or it might simply be about creating an abstract effect, the way music often does. Dance would create new and fresh environment.

Group Dance

• The team should be of 5-10 members.
• Time limit: 5 to 8 minutes.
• Teams have to submit their song CD to the event coordinators one hour before the event.
• Negative marking on exceeding the time limit.
• Teams have to bring their own props, costumes and make up.
• Participants will be judged on the basis of Coordination, Costumes, Expressions, and Choreography
  

Solo Dance

• Time limit 3-6 minutes.
• CD’s should be properly tagged with the song name, participant name.
• What type of props you are using should be informed earlier. Props related to fire will be prohibited.
• Judgments will be based on costumes, Dance steps, expressions and song selection
  

Ad Mad Show
Sell it if you can. Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising. It is your chance today to sell your product, if you can, by aggressive and throw your competitors at bay: Can you?

• Minimum 2-5 participants.
• Topic will be provided on the spot.
• 2 minute time will be allotted for preparation and 1 minute to present.
• Participants have to arrange their props themselves.
• Judgment will be based on how the team presents the ad through expressing the punch line/ jingle/slogan.

Footlights-Street Play
Street plays a mode of creating awareness. It’s all up in our head-right in our brain- the change. Change in society comes with the change in the mindset of the people and street plays can rightly achieve that goal.

• Time limit 10 minutes to 15 minutes.
• Play can be in any language either Hindi or English.
• Maximum number of participants in each team is 10 and minimum is 8.
• Play should revolve around Varchasva Theme or you can convey social message.
• Each member of a team should perform in the act.
• Judgment will be based on timing, usage of space, dialogue delivery, expressions and connection with the audience

Feel the Reel-Documentary Screening
Documentary Films are non-fictional, "slice of life" & factual works of art. Show up your talent, expressions through non-objective form and narrative based form of media.

• Minimum5 minutes duration and maximum 10 minutes
• Movie can be both fiction/non fiction
• The movie should not promote any product or place
• Each entry must bear an appropriate title.
• Entries start with title and college name
• Entries must be completely original and independently produced
• Obscenity, pornography and excessive violence are strictly prohibited
• Movie should be in “avi” format.
  

Walk with Attitude-Fashion Parade
Flaunt your style, walk with attitude, carry yourself with confidence-This is all about fashion show. Your walk will add fun and glamour to the fest.
Each team should choose one from the below theme for their sequence.

• Retro

• Summer Coolers
• Angel & Devil
  
• Minimum 8 to maximum 12 participants should be there per team. In addition there should be one person in charge for music and one for lights.
• On stage time for each team is limited to a maximum of 12 minutes.
• The stage should not remain empty for more than 30 seconds in between the sequences.
• Judgment will be on the basis of presentation, Walk, dressing and attitude.
• Music system will be provided. The teams are expected to bring their own piece of music for the sequence(s).
• All clothes and accessories are to be arranged for by the participating team.
• The organizing committee is responsible only for the infrastructural facilities.
• Any form of obscenity will result in debarring the team from further participation.

Photography is the real democratic art form; thereby we are creating awareness of photographic arts and initiating dialogue amongst its many practitioners and lovers. Learning, sharing, shows, giving voice to young collectives.
