| Alumni Meet... |
| CRC
organizes Alumni Meet every year. The objective of holding
the Alumni meet is to provide an opportunity to the
Alumni to chase their memories of college days, to meet
their friends and faculties and also to strength the
bond with the Institute. The students appreciated and
enjoyed the cultural event during the meet and their
valuable suggestions are recorded for improvement. |

The
Alumni Meet was held in the premises of TIAS. The gala
event kicked off to a great start. Dr. A.K.Rathore,
Director TIAS briefed the audience with the alumni activities
and to the agenda of the evening. Representatives from
each batch walked up the podium gracefully to share
their respective experiences of their batches.
Director set the ball rolling for a few members of the
faculty to spell a few words about themselves and about
the institution. The faculty also described the achievements
in their professional lives. The present batch students
won the hearts of the Alumni by their performance in
various cultural events.
Advisor, read out the key note address. The Chairman
Sh. R.K. Gupta interacted with all the alumni members
through an informal chat. He showered his blessings
on their and highlighted the need of networking for
their career building by citing a few lively examples
out of his own experience.
Extending a warm welcome to the participants, Director,
reiterated the need of frequent interaction amongst
industry, academics and students to meet the growing
social demands from management graduates. The role of
alumni has been very significant for the proper development
of the institutions and also to fulfill the needs of
the industry, as it provides the platform through which
the faculty, alumni and management graduates can share
their views pertaining to prevalent economic environment,
trends in the corporate sector and the role of management
schools.
Director, also apprised the alumni members with the
recent Infrastructural facilities augmented at TIAS.
These included two ultra modern computer laboratories,
two state of the Art Conference Rooms, Modern Audio
Visual teaching aids like OHPs, LCD's, Epicsopes, TVs,
VCRs, an inbuilt library with over 6,000 titles and
important national and international journals and Xerox
facility for the students. The Director also informed
the alumni that the Institute was now available on the
INTERNET at its site www.tiaspg.tecnia.in
In an enlightening discussion, the senior alumni members
deliberated on prevalent trends in the corporate world
and the problems faced by business schools
An interactive session was organized to all the alumni
members. The meet ended with a vote of thanks extended
to the chair who called upon all alumni members to contribute
actively towards overall growth of TIAS especially by
strengthening the efforts of the training and placement
cell. As the crowd queued up for dinner they were toasted
to a musical nite by the Tecnians. |
